SUPPORT WORKERS - SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICE, Dunedin (Ōtepoti)
Full Time, Part Time and Casual Roles available (Includes one weekend shift)
Salary: Up to $29.10 (depending on qualifications)
We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
- 3 full time positions (32-40 hours per week) with one weekend shift
- 3 part time positions (15-25 hours per week) with one weekend shift
- Plus One team is looking for 1 full time or 2 part time employees to cover the following: (Monday to Wednesday 4pm to 8.00pm, Thursday and Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm and Sunday 11.00am to 7.00pm)
About the job:
The Supported Living team at Community Care Trust is seeking motivated individuals with a can-do attitude to join their team. The role involves supporting individuals to achieve their goals both in their homes and within the community. This position offers a positive, varied, and supportive team environment where every day brings new challenges and the opportunity to make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building rapport and positive relationships with the people we support.
- Working alongside individuals to achieve their goals.
- Supporting people to access the local community and build their support network.
- Completing competency-based trainings to enhance skills and qualifications.
- Participating in rostered shifts, including one weekend day, with set hours and two permanent consecutive days off per week.
- Supporting people with everyday life, laundry, personal hygiene, cleaning, cooking etc
Requirements:
- Hold a full current New Zealand driver’s license.
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to complete one at our cost.
- Willingness to undergo vetting as part of the organisation’s commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable people.
